Step Higher Program offers valuable resources and relief for students of all backgrounds.
At the federal level alone, the US Dept Ed has 60 websites, dozens of toll free numbers and 17 different programs for higher education-so the process is complex to say the least.
Our college financial aid program at Step Higher Program helps families better understand how to select the schools, majors and financing options that can dramatically improve their ability to pay for college. Our focus is for the student to earn high quality education with as little student & parent debt as possible.

FAFSA-Free Application for Federal Student Aid- This is the most important factor in the whole financial aid picture. The information in this multi-page and complex application is used to determine your child’s eligibility for federal financial aid.
Expected Family Contribution – also known as your EFC. Follow this link to calculate how much money your family would be expected to pay for college.
